♩ Fight for This Love – Cheryl Cole ♩

Okay, I haven’t posted in a while. I didn’t expect university to be this crazy, not at all. But, I am settled and I am now know what is expected of me and how much work I have to do each week and how long it will take me etc. So, I can now prioritise slots for Novajo – my form of release!

The title of this post comes from something that happened on Friday night. I was having a bit of a rough time with emotional issues which is a combination of men, academic work and settling in to my new home. Anyhow, I thought a good way to deal with this would be to go out… to a themed night on campus. So, I decided to open a bottle of wine and get a bit happy before we were to go out. One of my flatmates also recommended we played this drinking game called 5 Alive which is where someone deals a pack of cards and you have to keep drinking on your turn until a five comes up. In three goes I had gotten through another bottle of wine! All of this happened in around 30 minutes, that is 26 units in 30 minutes. The next thing I remember, I am at Colchester Hospital on a glucose drip. And here is a funky piece of fashion:

Anyhow, other than that, university is amazing and two great albums were released. Well, one has been and one is to be released tomorrow. Any ideas? Nope, it’s not Whitney. The first is Alexandra Burke’s new album Overcome which is fantastic. The second (released tomorrow) is Cheryl Cole’s new album 3 Words and her song Fight for This Love just rocks all socks, even odd ones!
